25 September 2026. An open track day at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

Three hot laps in a row, and the plan was a cool-down lap. The timer showed I was a second ahead, so I pushed instead. Almost half a lap later, in the fast esses at 200+ km/h, on overheated tyres, the rear let go. I tried to catch it, hit the wall, then the other side, and stopped it on the brakes.

We did what you're supposed to do: stayed in the car and waited for the marshals. Then came the ambulance, the medical centre and the flatbed.

Also in this episode: my M2 #12 next to Ahmed's M2 #14. Same colour, different style.

What I learned:
1. Three hot laps, then a cool-down lap. No exceptions.
2. Don't let excitement make the call.
3. After a crash: stay in the car, wait for the marshals.

Next: Part 7, The Repair.

Motormania is probably the most exciting Competition of the year! Gloves off racing! Adrenaline packed and competitive to the Millisecond! Heavy hitting racers from all around the nation show up and show out. Grid masters and pioneers of car culture, talented automotive photographers and did I mention a 1000hp Supra ? 🤣
-
Couldn’t have done it without you all, the legends following this account, the photographers sending in their master pieces. And most importantly the friends we make on and off grid. 🔥
-
A special thank you to the guy behind the master plans @azizbakhashwain with the support of @altawkilat_motorsport making dreams happen. And the homies who eat pasta to drive fasta.
