Final year student, but I’ve been building since my freshman year. I’ve always wanted to build something that outlives me, to be an asset and not a liability.

I saw an opportunity, applied, trusted God… and today, I’m a grant recipient.

I celebrate every win because I know where I’m coming from. This is me reminding myself that consistency, faith, and showing up always pays off.

Grateful for how far I’ve come, and trusting God for more visibility and growth, including the opportunity to sharpen my skills in baking school.

Thank you, Jesus.

A huge thank you to Flo Haven Initiative for partnering with us on Her Cycle Her Health and for showing up the way you did. The demonstrations, the conversations about hygiene and health, the way your team engaged with the girls , it was hands-on, it was real, and it made a difference.

And leading that charge? Our very own Esther Adeola Amusan. 💙

Esther is a JCIN UNILAG alumna, and seeing her back here, this time as Program Manager at Flo Haven, championing menstrual health and fighting period poverty, honestly, that’s what legacy looks like. She brought her whole self to that room and the girls felt every bit of it.

To Esther and the entire Flo Haven team, thank you . We are so grateful you were part of this. 🌸

As we wrap up the year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on one of the strongest foundations of the REACH Administration: capacity building. 💪

Throughout November and December, every team in JCIN UNILAG held its first training session each one equipping members with the skills and confidence needed to deliver meaningful impact.🫡

From project planning, editorial strategy, sponsorship, and welfarism, to documentation, visual storytelling, and negotiation skills.

Huge appreciation to all our trainers, alumni, partners, leaders, and professionals who poured knowledge into us and set each team on the right path for the LO year.💙

This is the first part of our Year in Review series, and we’re excited to highlight more moments as we countdown to the end of the year.💯

Growth is intentional and we’re proud of every member who showed up to learn, evolve, and lead.✨
