Everything is pointless until you realize that it’s not |

Very tough but rewarding year from start to finish. If I had one word to describe my year, it would be change. Dreams and ambitions don’t come true when you do the same thing you’ve been doing with no outcome. Staying in a comfortable hole only works for so long, switch it up 💯. Thanks to all the incredible people who stay by my side in my life, old and new. Happy new years everyone, I love you all.

The Phoenix Business Journal has announced Dr. Amy Armstrong-Heimsoth, department chair of occupational therapy, as a finalist for the 2024 Health Care Heroes! She has been nominated for this award as she is a selfless healthcare hero at every level—educating doctoral students at NAU’s Phoenix Bioscience Core, mentoring occupational therapy faculty, and advocating for foster children in Arizona.

The 25th annual award ceremony will take place in August, where the winners will be announced. To read more about the Health Care Hero awards, visit the Phoenix Business Journal at the link in our bio.
