Meet ChelBeast Nation athlete Shane Wakeham

At 29, Shane brings creativity and dedication to two passions: photography and bodybuilding. He loves the process of creating, challenging himself, and getting better—and that shows in how he approaches this sport.

We started working together in April. He already had an impressive foundation of naturally built muscle and was well into his journey. My role was to give him the guidance and structure to take that work to the next level.

Since then, he’s lost 45 pounds as we’ve worked toward the conditioning for his first stage appearance. Every bit of that progress reflects months of commitment, patience, and following through.

Shane has been a pleasure to coach. He’s smart, realistic, and one of the most dedicated athletes I’ve worked with. He understands that this takes time, trusts the process, and consistently puts in the work.

He also appreciates the art of posing and works with his posing coach, Anthony (@a_deherrera16) to fine-tune the details. He puts thought into presenting his structure and bringing his physique to life, and I can’t wait to see their work come together onstage.

On October 16, this fully natural athlete will make his Classic Physique debut at the Idaho Cup Natural!

Beyond competing, Shane wants to bring his passions together through photography—capturing the dedication, transformations, and stories of other athletes.

Shane, I’m proud of what you’ve accomplished and grateful for your trust. I’m excited for your first show and everything we’ll build in the growth season afterward.

Help me cheer Shane on for his stage debut!

Meet ChelBeast Nation athlete Adam Miller

Adam’s journey started long before this prep. At his heaviest, he reached 300 pounds. At 21, he committed to changing his life, spending the next five years learning how to lose the weight and keep it off.

He also brings 37 years of martial arts experience, earning a 6th-degree black belt in Taekwondo and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Discipline, patience, and perseverance have been part of his life for decades.

Watching his son pursue bodybuilding inspired Adam to take on a new challenge. Now he’s preparing for his first Men’s Physique show at the Idaho Cup on October 17!

I have the privilege of coaching both Adam and his wife, and sharing this experience with them has been special. Adam has been fun to coach, and his prep has certainly kept me thinking! His outdoor career means working through summer heat and cold, with 20,000–26,000 steps already part of his typical day. We had to build his plan around that workload and find the right balance of food, training, cardio, and recovery.

He’s worked hard to follow the plan, quiet the outside opinions, and trust the direction we’re taking—and his progress shows it.

I’m excited to watch him bring everything he’s learned with his posing coach, Anthony, to the stage. Then we get to put that same work ethic into growth season!

Adam hopes his journey helps others believe they can change their lives too. I’m proud to be part of it and grateful for his trust.

Help me cheer Adam on for his stage debut!

So in love with you… 💗

It’s one thing to have him fall in love with who I was when we first met, but watching him love me 10 times harder as his wife and the woman carrying our baby is everything. Seeing our love grow as our family grows and being loved for every version of me make me fall even more in love with him everyday.

So grateful for you @a_deherrera16
