Setting the mood with limoncello. 🍋🍸

A little sweet.
Always a tart.

Perfect for a summers eve sipping on the front porch watching the kids chase fireflies.

@fieryskyasiankitchen is quickly becoming one of our favorite dinner spots! 🔥😍 We are slowly working our way through the menu, but we haven’t met a dish we didn’t like yet! Here are my personal favorites:

🦀 Crab Rangoon- one of the best in the city, IMO
🥔 Cumin Potato Chips- the prefect little snacky bite to start your meal
🐮 Sizzling Beef- A milder beef and veggie dish with an intensely savory flavor. The potatoes in this dish are incredible!
🔥 Dry Pot Chicken Tenders- A spiiiicy dish with crisp chicken and veggies, served over an open flame. Give it a stir occasionally so it doesn’t burn!
🌱 Green beans with pork- Crisp, garlicky, and with the most delicious morsels of seasoned pork
🐷 Dry Pot Cauliflower with short rib…I mean 🤩

The portions here are large and served family style, so it’s a great place to bring a group. I’m not saying you should use your friends so you can try more food, but I’m not NOT saying that either. 😉

Here I am, right back at @fieryskyasiankitchen again, ordering some old and new favorites with friends @lakesandlattes @neighborfoodie and @a_kindredplate . #Hosted

What we ordered:
🥔 Cumin potato chips
🥟 Sichuan spicy wontons
🥒 Cucumber salad
🐮 Di guo beef tenderloin
🐔 Dry pot chicken tenders
🍆 Yu-Xiang eggplant
🐷 Green beans with minced pork

Sharing a bunch of dishes is my favorite way to dine and I loved that we had a mix of heat levels, plenty of veggies, and an array of proteins. My new favorite that I hadn't had before was the dry pot chicken tenders. What's yours?

Recently a few of our members met up at @fieryskyasiankitchen to share some of their favorite dishes and to try some new dishes too. With their expansive menu we definitely recommend ordering for the table to share. If you've been, leave a comment with your favorite dish so we know what to order next time!

🥔 Cumin potato chips
🥟 Sichuan spicy wontons
🥒 Cucumber salad
🍖 Di guo beef tenderloin
🍗 Dry pot chicken tenders
🍆 Yu-Xiang eggplant
💚 Green beans with minced pork

While not a single scrap was left behind (hello delicious leftovers), here are the stand outs of the group:

Malini @lakesandlattes : I loved the Dry Pot Chicken Tenders because it was PACKED with flavor and heat 🔥. I recommend stirring it occasionally so the bottom doesn’t get too hot and all that delicious flavor get tossed through.

Courtney @neighborfoodie : The Green Beans with Minced Pork are for lovers of garlic and subtle heat! The crispy morsels of spiced pork really take these veggies over the top.

Erin @spiffycolumbus : The Di Guo Beef Tenderloin is like a savory stew. It was so aromatic, the beef and vegetables were tender and flavorful, and had "flatbread" cooked over the top that absorbed some of the sauce.

Ann @a_kindredplate : The Yu-Xiang Eggplant was probably the best eggplant dish I've had in a long time. The flavors were subtle and a little sweet. I'm not sure what the sauce was but it was sweet without being sickenly sweet. It was a perfect balance to the other dishes that were way more spicy.

Looking for last sec OSU-Michigan tailgate idea and don't want to host? Grab the girls and meet at a parking lot with some chips, salsa, and mocktails
🌮
I recently met up with some friends for a @ridiculouslygoodsalsa salsa tasting and it was a blast. We met at @thehillsmarket with the basics and snagged a few extras
🌮
We were most impressed with the ranch pickle salsa. Utilizing @thecrazycucumberllc pickles, the salsa was mild with so much flavor.
🌮
We paired all with a mocktail; bottled with @simpletimesmixers and topped with @tajinusa. If you are looking for something refreshing, def checkout the citrus basil flavor and add some @perrier for pizzaz!
🌮
Cost: Be sure to snag @ridiculouslygoodsalsa at The Hills @heinens @marketdistrict @wholefoods @illmanneredbeer or online

POV: The mom version of tailgating looks a little different… 😅

It’s squeezed in between sports practice, meal prep, and other errands—but there’s always time for good friends, a quick laugh, and a jar (or two) of Ridiculously Good Salsa, even if it happens in the grocery store parking lot.

Because who says you need a stadium to tailgate? 🏈

Fun tailgating with @a_kindredplate @whatshouldwedotoday_cbus @cbusfoodie614 @ohiogirl.travelingworld @queenbeejackie
