One of the program’s highlights: our Director of Technology and lead developer of CaribTherapy @gvpluviose did a wonderful job walking us through the app’s key features, showing us how to search for therapists, explore their profiles, and find culturally responsive care that fits our needs. 💙

Last weekend was unfolded like a velvet ribbon of love, family, faith, and community.🌸

That weekend was made so special because of the kindness, generosity, and care poured into our family from every direction. Watching everyone come together to celebrate our sweet girl was something we will cherish forever.

Dr. Bond is a passionate and experienced secondary English educator specializing in Literature, dedicated to building engaging, rigorous, and culturally responsive learning environments. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Texas Christian University and a Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida.

Her work spans across multiple states, supporting diverse student populations including multilingual learners from Mexico, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. She has also served students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds, including those experiencing homelessness and navigating mental health challenges and trauma.

Dr. Bond’s commitment to equity, stability, and access in education aligns deeply with our mission—and we’re honored to have her on the team.

30th birthday celly in Miami was short lived and not enough pictures/videos were taken. Great people made it worthwhile, beautiful core memories created, and fantasticccccc music everywhere, not a bad way for unc to go out. SaveSouls participated at the @ifsiusa Symposium, Charting the Path Forward, alongside other community-based organizations, coming together to tackle the urgent challenges facing immigrant communities: mental health, housing, education, workforce readiness, and policies affecting us.

In the mental health breakout, we shared ideas and solutions, because dialogue alone isn’t enough. Every story, every challenge, and every conversation is a call to act, to create real change for families striving to thrive in a new home.

SaveSouls is dedicated to taking actionable steps toward a brighter present and future for our fellow immigrants, and it’s truly inspiring to see organizations across sectors stepping up, showing that when we work together, solutions are possible.

The need is great, but our commitment is greater! 💕🇭🇹
