I’ve had people on my team prove me wrong, and I’m glad they did. It’s easy to see someone’s habits early on and assume you know where they’ll end up. But people mature, get serious, and surprise you. Your first impression shouldn’t be the only chance they get.

I work hard for my money, so I understand being careful with it. But growing a business takes more than holding onto every dollar. The right training, tools, or guidance can help you improve—if you actually put them to use.

I catch myself doing this more than I’d like to admit. Someone brings up a concern, and I’m already explaining my side before they finish. Being able to say “you’re right, I could’ve handled that better” does more for your business than having an answer for everything.

You want the results, but would you keep going through all the losses it took to get there? A few bad days don’t mean you’re in the wrong business. Give yourself more chances to get better.

You know what could go wrong if you try. But have you thought about what happens if you never do? Another year in the same situation, wondering whether you could’ve done more. That’s a risk too.

Sometimes you get so used to a situation that you stop questioning whether it’s good for you. Leaving feels scary, but so does looking back years from now and realizing you stayed just because it was familiar.

I hate being judged too. I would always work by myself, stay muted and never ask any one questions because I thought I knew it all. This only held me back and made it harder for me to excel. Before you talk yourself out of something you want, ask yourself whose reaction you’re afraid of—and why it gets to decide what you do.

One rejection can follow you into conversations that had nothing to do with it. You start rushing, holding back, or expecting another no. Reset before the next call. That person hasn’t rejected you—give them a real chance to hear you.
