We can’t wait to host Chicago Electronic Art-Rock band @thishouseiscreaking at the 8th Edition of The New Colossus Festival, happening March 9-14, 2027.

Chicago-based duo Micah Miller and Ehmed Nauman form This House Is Creaking (THiC), a project born from the “third mind” of their collaboration. As musician, writer, and photographer Leor Miller captures, THiC channels 90s alt-rock, Midwest emo, and the spastic digital experiments of PC Music into pop-forward, anthemic art-rock. Turning inner monologues into dialogues about existential security, their music ranges from aggressive to caressing—transforming moments of self-change, miscommunication, and comfort into sonic experiments that both bombard and reassure the listener.

They’ve recently opened for Water From Your Eyes, Hotline TNT & DIIV.

Her world is built around the tension between the person and the image: desire, validation, self-surveillance, fake empowerment, digital narcissism, and the pressure to appear free while performing a new kind of conformity.
