The first stop of our 5.1 season saw us travel up to @aagkiraat 🧡 in (somehow cold) Columbia, SC ⛄️

That boy @sohumshinkre did his thing and won yet another best mix 🥱 Congrats to @ucbzahanat @ga_saazish and @uclanashaa for their respective placings, as well as all the other teams, it was such a fun weekend with y’all ❤️‍🔥

Our goats @pateltanish_ and @sanjana.jayakumarrr somehow managed to take care of us while also putting on a 𝗌̶𝗁̶𝗂̶𝗍̶𝗍̶𝗒̶ fire dance performance themselves 🙌Additionally, thank you to the entire AKR board for the awesome hospitality and support throughout the weekend 🫶

This just the start here at the Swamp… stay tuned 🐊

The UCLA Nashaa Excavators made it to their first stop: Columbia, South Carolina! 🪏🗺️🧭 Logging in more than 24 hours in the airport due to unforeseen weather, we persevered, arrived at our destination, and met an infamous mummy. 🧟‍♀️

Thank you to @aagkiraat for hosting such a fun excavation. Digging out 3rd🥉, UCLA Nashaa wouldn’t have accomplished such placing without the help of our wonderful liaisons: @aavanpatel & @keerthana.rngva. We would like to congratulate all teams we competed with and convey special congratulations to @ucbzahanat and @ga_saazish for their respective placings.

The annual @aagkiraat Night of Fire, a South Carolina Bollywood-fusion dance competition, was held at USC this year. I got to go and watch some amazing teams from around the country perform while taking photos for the @dailygamecock! USCs new team, the @uscakshara, made an appearance after the competition. Their routine was absolutely incredible! I had so much fun attending and I WILL be there next year👏🔥👏🔥👏🔥👏
