Within the framework of her studio at Cripta747, @katiekabalina continues her ongoing REHEARSAL series, which examines performance as a space for compulsive self-representation and the negotiation of female identity. Originally developed for the camera, these experiments increasingly move into “live” situations: a series of so-called rehearsals in which the public becomes both subject and object, collapsing the distance between observation and participation.

REHEARSAL No.3 — Self-audition tape (Kisses) adopts the format of a solo performance while remaining informed by collaborative dynamics and processes.

in the making of “dive urgent” custom collection

3 years ago @aalexaley and i met at a dinner organized by our mutual friend. we immediately clicked, we knew we had to do something together one day. later on we developed a custom line for my tour

to me these pieces are representative of three states: desire, pain and despair. the touch of beauty on the edge of hysteria. i wanted it to look like my music, sound and feel like it. make latex romantic and burn down the denim. play with the shapes, dirt and colors. have fun

thank u @aalexaley for going through this journey with me. creating with you is akin to swimming in a lake of joy. ily forever
