Hard to believe just 1 year ago this girl had finally gotten her back walkover again after dealing with a back injury and lots of mental block. During clinics last year she accomplished a front walkover for the first time (thanks to tons of encouragement from Abby) now here we are a year later throwing handsprings through out the living room and working on tucks.

She LOVES every aspect of cheer. While picking up choreography, maturity with team dynamics and even most stunting comes naturally for this girl, tumbling has been harder. To say she has put in the work to get her tumbling here is an understatement. Despite loving it, it doesn’t come easily for her and she has to work harder for this piece of the sport she loves, but if you ask her, the hours in the gym (despite missing some social events has been worth it - see the last pic where she even gives credit to her mama 😉). As stressful and sad as it is to leave our amazing home at Premier, I’m so very proud of how hard this girl has worked over the past year and can’t wait to see her rock tryouts and hopefully find a new home on a team at Cheer Pitt.

Keep working hard sweet girl, it’s paying off and teaching you lessons both in and out of the gym! I especially love seeing how you cheer on others. We can’t thank Chris, Jerome and Aaliyah enough for pouring into our girl. On good days and bad, you kept her encouraged and have helped her gain her confidence back. Despite long hours with tons of athletes, you always make her feel like a priority and I’m so grateful to see her feeling more like her old confident self again! She loves being there and all the friends she has made which makes it worth all the hours!
Big thanks to coach Charles for helping us get over her mental block and back to acing that back walkover before clinics last year!
Finally, thank you to @allisoncarson2003 for helping her fall in love with this sport and supporting us through these past few years! We love you and are so grateful for all you and the other premier coaches have done to get her to this point and for the friendship formed along the way! I’m so glad I’ll have Harper there so we can see all of you still!

Its over. This season went by way too fast. Nothing sums up Neon more than this video right here. You don’t hit zero 15 out of 16 times by luck. These girls built such a strong foundation of love and trust and it showed every single time they hit the mat. This stunt should have gone down. Khloe placed her foot wrong and when slowed down you can see the base can barely get a thumb under her foot in time to keep her up. It happens. But if you look at Khloe’s face…you can see that she has 100% trust in her bases and bracer to make sure that stunt didn’t go to the ground. That’s the difference maker right there. These girls never gave up on each other and never gave up on themselves. I can’t believe we’re losing 7 incredible seniors this year. I’m not ready to not see their faces in the gym. Khloe is so lucky to have had these girls to look up to. Long live Neon 🩷
