20 years ago today, Dawn and I lost our son Christian in our 9th month of pregnancy, it was devastating, heartbreaking and one of the hardest days of my life. We still had to go through the process of delivering Christian and that night after we delivered him,Dawn told me to go stay with my sister and her husband and get some sleep, so I didn’t have to sleep in the hospital chair, so I did just that…That night, I had a dream or a vision, which I believe was God and he told me, Christians life and your story is going to be used for years too help and touch the lives of other people and what’s lost, will be restored! Two years to the exact day we lost Christian, Roman was born! For those of you that know Roman, he is special, filled with life, he is extremely strong willed and I have always felt like he is two kids in one, like he has a piece of Christian living within him. Today is Roman’s 18th birthday and I wanted to share our story in hopes that it continues to touch the lives of people. Roman, you are my boy, I love you more than words can ever explain, happy 18th birthday!

When you look back on life, there are certain moments that are pivotal in your life, moments that shape you and help me of you into the person you are supposed to be. 23 years and 9 months ago, Dawn and I found out we were pregnant with a little girl, I was only 23 years old, I was broke and had no direction. However, the moment I found out we were expecting, I started selling for the company I know own, I also valeted cars, I was willing to do whatever it takes to provide for my family. Having a baby girl was life changing in so many ways, but most importantly, it gave me purpose! I am so proud of the exceptional young lady you have become, you are intelligent, you are hilarious, driven and beautiful, you are the total package! I am incredibly proud of the person you are and I am excited to see where you are going, so I would like to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I love you more than you know ❤️😊#girldad #dad #daughter #birthdaylove
