Ever wonder what a 2nd Assistant Camera actually does? 🎥

The 2nd AC is an essential part of the camera department, helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Responsibilities can include managing media cards, changing batteries, organizing equipment, marking actors, maintaining camera reports, operating the slate, and supporting the rest of the camera team throughout the shoot. It's one of those jobs most audiences never see, but productions couldn't function without it.

Meet Aamarah, our 2nd AC on Girl Dinner. During the chaos of the 48 Hour Film Project, she helped keep the camera department organized, prepared, and moving efficiently so we could focus on getting the shots we needed before time ran out.
