“MADE 2 EMPOWER” COMING THIS SUNDAY 3-8PM☀️☀️☀️

Growing Flowers in OUR Garden as we gather in the Lower East side to Celebrate women, while providing a space to unleash your creativity and FUEL YOUR PASSION.

Experience Live Music, a CYPHER, Interactive Art Installations, and so much more to discover along the garden path.

A space for our community to disconnect, connect, and cultivate.

In the iconic Clyde Romero Garden where this was the FIRST space in NYC to begin Composting, we bring things full circle providing hands on clothing and creative sustainability workshops.

As artists, we are capable of giving materials a full life cycle to really turn one persons trash into another’s treasure. It’s a win, win if you ask me and the earth will thank us later ;)

So many lovely talents of all mediums will be featured and these are just a handful.

We can’t wait to see you there, this one’s for the culture..and our earth 😉🌍

I burned, overcooked, and maybe even flambéed things that weren’t supposed to be flambéed — and loved every minute of it 👩🏼‍🍳The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) gave me structure, purpose, and 4 a.m. wakeups that I was jumping out of bed for! I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat hoping I had the same incredible classmates by my side 💜 This was more than a culinary education — it was one of the best chapters of my life, and the beginning of an entirely new story I’m proud to be writing 🫶🏻🍪 #justchippys #iceculinary #culinaryschool #culinarychef #culinarystudent #cooking #cookingschool #baking #bakingschool #foryou #explore

Just like that….but it’s never over!

Been through a lot these past couple months but it’s been a testament to my strength. I was surprised; Proved myself wrong about a lot. You were always capable and its only the beginning. Be Confident enough to stay Disciplined which birth’s Resilience and that will carry you as far as you seek! Remember to always do it with Love ✌🏽♥️

I’ve been blessed recently with so many opportunities, and many of them sprouted from this night. My solo show was the beginning of everything for me. I was in awe of how many people came out to support me and my art, but I was even more enamored by the amount of connections that were made outside of me. When we say community, we mean it baby. More and more to come 🫶🏽

As always, thank you @brooklyn.art.cave for creating a space to curate these connections.

I prayed over this trip so many times that I started questioning my own faith. It wasn’t just about the success of the event, but also about the experiences of the people who trusted me enough to join. Anxiety and imposter syndrome are battles I’m working on and winning, though they’re things I hate to show others—until this trip. You all made me feel safe, something I don’t feel as often as I should.

I’ve tried to process my feelings about the event, but every time I think of the trip, I think of the house and the family that made it a home for five days. I want to thank each and every one of you for teaching me something different, whether through words or actions. I’ve always prayed for a tribe, and you all became just that.

I tend to keep a mask on, but you made me feel safe enough to take it off and show my true self. Thank you for reminding me that I’m human and allowing me to embrace that humanness. Thank you for the flowers you insisted I take. Thank you for trusting my vision enough to invest in it and follow me across the ocean to London. Thank you for loving me in your own authentic ways. Thank you for the grace that you showered me with. You’ve become the family I didn’t know I needed. I love you all, and this trip will forever be in my mind and heart. Cheers to the first and many more 🥂
