We are pleased (and slightly frightened!) to say that Count Orlock himself (aka Scott Thomas) will be joining us at @tnlcinemastretford for the sold out Sprechen Cinema Pres. Nosferatu on Thurs 29th October 🎥

He’ll be welcoming visitors and also lurking around the foyer before the film where you may be able to get a photo with him (if you ask nicely!) 😱 ⚡️

Regeneration With Soul♥️🏢

Stockport is officially one of the coolest places in the UK, according to @timeouttravel.
I loved working on WEIR:LIVE for social impact redevelopment company Capital&Centric, to curate + produce a free community focussed event at its freshly completed Weir Mill development.
From the outset, the idea was to root the event in Stockport & celebrate the people, music and creative talent that make the place what it is. I brought in @chrismasseycreates - an experienced & respected local promoter and record label owner who knows his onions. We have worked together before and he knows the Stockport scene well.
Together we curated a line-up that was a reflection of the town’s vibrant talent.
13 ace local DJs inc @aanniewoodd @acr.mcr @bobby_thorpee @hannah_pangolin__ @stemaccamcdonald @muddyfeetuk @odioba_sk playing everything from soul to techno, the joyous and uplifting Stockport @popvoxchoir choir, the super fun @playhouseproject featuring @jeni_chan_aka_pokerhontas75 and MC Kwasi, @hba_studio_ face painter and hat bar that barely stopped all afternoon, kids off screens and learning new skills with the circus workshop, and around four thousand people turning up to enjoy it all in the sunshine!☀️
The atmosphere was bouncing.
All the operators got involved too and were super busy. Big shout out to @socialosteria for supplying delicious pizzas for our crew and to @beartownbrewery keeping the artists hydrated! ♥️

⋆˚꩜｡ּan artist spotlight for the duo to end all duos, Abby&Annie ⋆˚꩜｡

It only makes sense that they’ll be warming things up for us on the 23rd @honeystreet.studio taking us through a mixture of house, deep house and ofc the disco edits.

You may already have heard them playing out and about around Manchester and Stockport, with Abby’s residency on Steam Radio and Midnight Audio Sanctuary, as-well as being the creator of Opal Phase, or Annie’s involvement with Semi Peppered and their recently launched festival, Fully Peppered. Alongside their B2Bs at Bruk and ōdiobā, the gals have been booked and busy.

WEIR:LIVE is a FREE all-day party under the arches at Weir Mill, and it’s going to be proper decent.

From 11:30am ‘til late, come for the music, stay for everything else. Local DJs doing what they do best, incredible food and drinks from some of Stockport’s finest indie spots at Weir Mill, and a whole load of brilliant people turning up to look after you.

Families, dogs, music lovers - all welcome. No tickets, no faff.

Oh, and if you’ve got a couple of quid to spare on the day, we’ll be picking up donations to send straight to the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity @gmmayorscharity. No pressure, just good vibes for a great cause.
