Aanya graduated high school, and we’re still trying to process how quickly we got here.

This moment is about so much more than a diploma. We’re proud of everything she carried along the way — the responsibility she took on, the leadership she showed, and the way she balanced so much with grace and determination. She gave her time, energy, and heart to everything she committed to.

Watching her grow into a hardworking, strong, capable young woman — someone who leads with confidence and shows up for others — has been one of our greatest joys.

With the younger of our two daughters graduating, it feels like the end of an era — a little bittersweet, a lot of pride, and so much excitement for what’s ahead.

Thank you @decainc for the best experience of a lifetime.

Serving as your Central Region Vice President this past year has shown me what truly drives this organization.
It starts with a simple choice: saying yes. Your growth is found in the moments you say yes to. The late-night prep sessions, the daunting yet friendly judge nodding along across the table, and the chance to meet someone new.
But, as a leader, I’ve learned that the greatest impact comes from creating opportunities for others and stepping back to let them lead.
My own journey was paved by people who did exactly that for me. To Hersey DECA(@hersey_deca) and Mr. Vesper, thank you for being my foundation. To Illinois DECA (@illinoisdeca) and Ms. Bear, thank you for believing in me when my battery ran low.
To our Central Region Association Officers: thank you for your daily dedication. Our record membership wouldn’t have been possible without your help.
And to the best team I could’ve ever asked for, Asher, Hannah, Mason, and Praveena, thank you for being by my side as we soared to new heights.
DECA, keep your energy high, and remember it just takes a simple yes to change your life. Thank you for the ride of a lifetime!

Wow! ICDC 2026 was nothing short of absolutely incredible.

Representing Wisconsin not only as a state officer but also on the world stage was such a gift. Proud to receive 6th in my Integrated Marketing Campaign-Product out of 200+ competitors! 👏

I had so much fun bonding with my state officer team while also networking, pin trading, and seeing all that Atlanta had to offer. (Fun fact, we got through the ENTIRE Georgia Aquarium in 45 minutes)!! 🐠🐡🤞

I am so blessed to be in this position and consistently do what I love. Here’s to Team 61 and all of Wisconsin DECA’s ICDC competitors! ❤️🐮
