our aapsm chapter had an amazing time volunteering at the special olympics wisconsin fit feet event! 🏅

many athletes face foot and ankle pain or deformities that can hinder their performance. up to 50% of special olympic athletes have preventable or treatable foot conditions that can affect their sports participation. our dedicated volunteer podiatry students worked tirelessly to evaluate and address foot, ankle, and lower extremity biomechanics issues, ensuring athletes are fitted with the best shoes and socks for their sport. proud to support these incredible athletes and help them perform at their best!
