6 x 800 meter interval runs ( or 6 x 4 min intervals)
2 minute rest in between.

Training session brought to by @aaptiv, using the Master the Marathon Training Program. Not gonna lie, i was died by set 5 and 6.

I got to learn when to hit that lap button so i can get some accurate numbers, but either way mission complete.

Got to work off that vacation weight gain💪

✨I Am Unstoppable Today✨

“Unstoppable” by Sia has been running through my head all week. It was my anthem on race day.

I’m unstoppable.
I’m a Porsche with no brakes.
I’m invincible.

Today was my first race since January 20, 2024. That race? Broken rib. Pneumonia. I didn’t even know it at the time — I just thought my lungs hurt.

My running since then has been… spotty at best. But the desire hasn’t been.

Since the beginning of this year, I’ve had one vision:
Get stronger.
Run smarter.
Get faster.

Today’s goal? Sub-26 5K. Podium finish.

But I envisioned first in my age division.

I ran smart. I didn’t gas out. And I SPRINTED to the finish.

Under 26 minutes.
🥇 First in my age division.
6th woman overall.
39th out of 452.

That’s a win in my book.

And I’m just getting started.

Run with me.
Train with me.
If you’re ready to level up… I’m building something.

Let’s go.

I see your power.
I love you!
Xx, D

I did my 5k training with @aaptiv
Special shout out to @wootrunningoc @oc.craft.runners @fastfriendsrun for being my run friends who have gotten me through my health journey.

✨You CAN Dance…✨

You can jive… having the time of your life.

It’s a choice.

I wanted to quit.
So I tricked my mind —
“Just get to the street that leads home.”

Then Dancing Queen came on.
The tempo matched my steps.
The upcoming incline didn’t feel so daunting.

So I pushed.
And I went farther than the road home.

Because I knew something…
If I quit, I would regret it.

So I imagined a dance break —
and then I took one.
In the last 9 minutes.
And again at the end.

Sometimes we don’t want to do what we know we need to do. Sometimes we just need to go a little further than our comfort zone suggests.

The body is more capable than we think.
The mind just prefers easy.

But victory?
Victory is at the finish line.

So don’t quit.

You CAN dance.
You CAN jive.
You CAN have the time of your life.
You CAN _______.

YOU CAN.
The choice is yours.

I see you — you’re stunning.

I love you! Xx, D

✨Signal Creates Shift✨

I did not want to get out of bed this morning.
It was too cozy. Too warm.

But…

Comfort doesn’t create momentum.
Choice does.

So I unwrapped myself from ease
and stepped into the day.

Not harder.
Clearer.

The body responds to command.
So does life.

This is your invitation—

Step forward.
Signal your direction.
Shift your atmosphere.

⚡️ Power is not borrowed. It’s awakened.

I see your power!
I love you! Xx, D

Today I sprinted.

Because sprinting is initiation.
It is the decision to accelerate.

3-minute warm-up
5.0 / 5.2 / 5.5

3.0 recovery walk – 60 sec

15 x 60-sec sprints
building from 6.5 to 10.0

Acceleration requires signal.
Signal requires choice.
