The Fightzone project was never about building an academy for me. It was always about building a place for the kids and teenagers.

I’ve been lucky to have Checkmat and an amazing professors like Rico to show me the way. I’ve had the privilege to travel, train and learn from incredible people.

And every time I speak with them, they always tell me the same thing.
Focus on the kids. They are the future of the sport.

The job is not only to make them better at Jiu-Jitsu, but to make them better human beings.

And luckily for me, I have three amazing students — Benjamin, Leander and Filippa, and Hadeland has Ole Marius who give up their own time to help lead, inspire and show the younger kids how to behave, how to treat others, and what Jiu-Jitsu can do for a person.

That means more to me than they probably realize.

Because this is how we build the future.

What a weekend. 🙏

I couldn’t be prouder of every athlete who represented Roger Gracie Academy Norway and Frontline Muay Thai this weekend.

The medals are great, but what impressed me most was the character shown by our kids and youths. The respect they showed, the resilience they demonstrated, and the way they carried themselves both in victory and defeat. They represented the club with honour and made us all proud.

To top it off, bringing home the 1st Place Team Trophy for Best Club was a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and team spirit shown by everyone involved.

A huge thank you to all the parents for the trust and support you continue to show us. It is a privilege to be part of your children’s journey, and that trust is never taken for granted.

Thank you to @rga_norway and @frontlinemuaythai for the trust and respect they place in me to represent the club. It is something I am truly grateful for.

A special thank you to Head coach Elyes for always having my back and for always putting the best interests of the kids first.

And finally, thank you to BJJ League for putting on such a professional, safe, and fair event while creating a fantastic atmosphere for everyone involved.

Weekends like this remind us that martial arts are about much more than medals—they are about respect, discipline, courage, and growth.

Proud of every single one of you. ❤️🙏🏆.

We had an amazing run @goodvibesgrapplingcircuit thanks to all the judges and personnel involved for making this a fun competition. Thanks for the support from parents and athletes who sacrificed time and money to compete under RGA. I'm so proud of the kids - so kind, respectful, and still managed to kick ass and bring home the best club title. See you all at the next comp
