TEAM TOOLAN WINS THE RAIN GAME‼️🌧️🥍

Team Toolan gets the win in this year’s NEPA Lacrosse Boys Senior All-Star Game, earning an 11-5 victory after falling 11-6 to Team Zabroski last year.

A wet and heavy rain game did not stop the crowd from staying or the action from continuing on the field.

🏆 Team Toolan MVP
Erick Maldonado, North Pocono G / King’s College commit
11 saves on 16 shots

Aaron Goldstein led Team Toolan offensively with 5 goals on 7 shots and 2 assists, while Luke Young added 2 goals and 1 ground ball.

Sam Kelley finished with 2 goals and 1 ground ball, Will Sordoni added 1 goal and 1 assist, and Owen Stretanski scored on his only shot while adding 2 ground balls.

Will McPartland dished out 2 assists, Jake Motichka added an assist, and Donato Rinaldi, Xavier Little and John Redington each collected a ground ball.

At the faceoff X, Andrew Dempsey went 10/13, while Jaxsen Silfee went 1/2 as Team Toolan finished 11/15 overall.

A strong all-around win for Team Toolan and a great night celebrating the seniors. 👏

ONE LAST RUN FOR PENNCREST’S GOLDSTEIN & YOUNG 🥲

After a historic spring with Penncrest, Aaron Goldstein and Luke Young made the trip up to the Scranton area to suit up one more time together in the NEPA Lacrosse Senior All-Star Game.

Goldstein, a Drexel commit, and Young, an Arcadia commit, both earned spots on our PA Lax News All-Tournament Team after helping lead Penncrest to the PIAA 2A state final. The Lions finished as state runners-up after a 14-13 battle against Mars, closing out one of the best seasons in program history.

Even after a late-night all-star game played through heavy rain, both guys took time to chat following Team Toolan’s 11-5 win over Team Zabroski.

Goldstein finished with 5 goals on 7 shots and 2 assists, while Young added 2 goals and 1 ground ball.

We talked with them about what made this Penncrest group special, what the senior class meant to the program, the energy around the Penncrest community and fan base, playing under young head coach Evan Pettit, making the trip to an all-star game where they knew almost nobody, and what they will carry from Penncrest lacrosse into their next chapters at Drexel and Arcadia.

Still doesn’t feel real it’s over. Thank you, Penncrest Lacrosse, for the memories, the battles, and the brothers. I’d go to war with this group a thousand times over. #unc #washed #staypublic
