CASTING CALL UPDATE
The casting is now closed.
Thank you to all who responded to this post! We've selected a great group of people.

Calling all my club people!

I’m working with Razor-N-Tape on a new project featuring photographs from my Last Dance Archive on T-shirts and other apparel. I’m looking for a small, diverse group of New Yorkers, 18 and over, to join me Friday, October 23, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. for a photo shoot at a secret location in Williamsburg.

I’ll be photographing people wearing the apparel. I’m looking for real club people with their own style. All backgrounds, identities, ages and styles are welcome. No modeling experience needed.

This is an unpaid shoot, and there’s no fee to take part. I’ll give each person a small special gift from me. Selected images will be shared on social media. I’ll share the location details with the people I select.

If you’re interested, please send me a recent photo of yourself by direct message, along with your name, Instagram handle, and T-shirt size. Medium is preferred. The photos don’t need to be professional. I’ll review them and contact the people I select.

Please only send photos if you’re comfortable being photographed and having selected images shared on social media. Thanks! Bill

We’ve shared some special evenings together at Public Records over the past four years 🪩

A Joyful Noise was started by @jkriv & RNT to bring back the kind of NYC nights where improvised live music and deep club sounds go hand in hand.

Over the years, these nights have brought together the incredible musicians of A Joyful Noise, guest vocalists, and some of our favorite DJs. This Thursday, we do it all again to celebrate the upcoming Gatefold Double LP, A Joyful Noise – Live at Public Records.

So much energy, love, and dedication have gone into this project, and we can’t wait to share these recordings with you — and come together for another beautiful evening on the dance floor.

Another amazing day of sonic bliss at Refuge. The RNT crew warmed up the floor for Glenn and Marcellus, who took us on a spiritual and euphoric journey!

Big thanks to the dancers who braved the soggy weather to get cozy with us inside, and to Shorty and the awesome Refuge staff.

Can’t wait to be back under the disco ball array, sliding around on the buttery wood floor, swathed in sound.
