The Buddy System didn’t happen overnight…

Different rooms. Different stages. Different faces. A lot of shows, a lot of laughs, and probably way too many flyers.

What started as a way to put on comedy shows has grown into something much bigger. A community of comics, audiences, venues, and friends who keep showing up for each other.

Looking back at these photos, we are proud of how far we’ve come. But we’re even more excited about where we’re going.

Thank you to every comic who’s touched one of our stages, every venue that gave us a room, and every person who came out and laughed with us.

Years later, we’re still here. Still building. Still laughing.

My 32nd birthday was last week 💖 These are some of my favorite adventures from the past year (heavy on moments from filming the music video for Sweet Dreams ☁️).

Most of the year felt like slide 2 😂 head barely above water, heart racing, out of breath, can’t see nothin, and somehow still giggling my way through. I’m pretty sure my soul signed up for the experiential package when it decided to become a human…

The point is the feeling. The point is the not knowing. The anxiety. The loving. The courage. The grieving. The learning. The creating. The becoming and the unbecoming.

A part of me wishes for peace. Another part of me knows that peace does not come from the absence of tension or chaos or uncertainty – it comes from staying rooted in myself while flowing through it all.

Grateful for the ones who tend to my soil 🙏🏾✨

✨📷 Happy International Photography Day 📷✨
For the past decade I’ve had the absolute privilege to photograph and document all sorts of people, events, and special moments. Not a day goes by where I don’t appreciate where my camera has taken me. I’m always forever grateful for each and every opportunity. I’ve been a girl with a camera for so long, taking pictures since middle school. I never would’ve imagined the rooms I’d get to photograph in back then 🥹

Recently I changed my IG handle, from allyalmorephoto to allyalmore. I dropped the photo because at this point it’s ✨implied ✨ 🙂‍↕️ and also I am so much more than my photography. Excited to be sharing other parts of myself both on and especially OFFLINE.

🙂‍↕️ yes I’m THAT girl. 💜🫰🏽

So on this international photography day, I’m sharing some moments from the past few years (mostly this year with a few throwbacks sprinkled in ✨). Sorry I can only tag 20 ppl in the posts. My photos don’t always make it to the feed but please know I’m outside workingggg. Also look at the variety, if I had more space I’d put SO many more photos but this is just a snippet of the things my lenses documented lately. 🥰

#supportlocalartists - interact with this post so it gets seeeeeen please! You can do that for free.99 with a like, comment, share, repost. Tell your friend about me 😝

If you’re looking for ways to support me with your coinsss… 🤑

Book a session with me! For whatever! When was the last time you took family photos? Real ones, like not on someone’s phone? 🤨 For your public/private/community events, reach out via my website! For fun ways to honor your fur babies, to document your love, for yourself. When was the last time you looked at a photo of yourself and smiled? 💖 Let’s change that. 💖

Have I photographed you before in a way you love? Let me know where/when in the comments 🥰
