Last week I had the privilege of attending my 3rd Vivint Gives Back trip in Panama City. These are always trips to remember where we get to help out local families that weren’t blessed with the same opportunities we get in the United States. Vivint had us stay in a hotel in the middle of the Gamboa rainforest which was a cool experience on its own. The day I was flying back to the US, Panama got rocked by a big earthquake that thankfully didn’t cause any deaths, but brought about a lot of damage. From seeing the resilience of the Panamanian people up close, I know they’ll unite as a nation to rebuild and move forward. 🙏🏾🇵🇦

La semana pasada tuve el privilegio de participar en mi tercer viaje de Vivint Gives Back en Ciudad de Panamá. Estos siempre son viajes para recordar, donde tenemos la oportunidad de ayudar a familias locales que no han sido bendecidas con las mismas oportunidades que tenemos en Estados Unidos. Vivint nos puso en un hotel en medio del bosque tropical de Gamboa, y eso fue una gran experiencia. El día que volaba de regreso a Estados Unidos, Panamá fue golpeado por un terremoto fuerte. Afortunadamente no causó ninguna muerte, pero sí provocó muchos daños. Después de ver de cerca la resiliencia del pueblo Panameño, sé que se unirán como nación para reconstruir y seguir adelante. 🙏🏾🇵🇦

I started working at Vivint 14 years ago and part of what made me fall in love with this company was how it treated its sales force like rockstars. As a rookie rep, I remember watching the regional managers take trips to NYC and thinking how badly I wanted to be there someday.

That was always the magic of this place. It surrounded you with people doing big things and made you believe you could too. That belief pushed me to dream bigger, become more and surround myself with people who wanted the same. A lot of people have come and gone since then. A lot has changed since I started working here. And plenty have wondered if that magic is still here…

14 years later, I got to go to NYC as a regional manager, surrounded by some of the best people I know, celebrating a record-breaking year for the company, the division and my region. Full circle moment made me realize: The magic never left. And neither did we. #StillHere #BuildYourEmpire
