Everything God did throughout this past month - God is a God of miracles 🙌🏻

‘I’m done trying, Lord. You take care of it.’

That was the prayer my darling husband prayed just a few weeks ago. After years of closed doors, late-night shifts, hard work and waiting on God’s timing, my darling husband was ready to hand it all over. We have been through seasons where people rejected us, doors were slammed shut and our faith was stretched to its absolute limit.

But God never forgets a faithful heart 😭

For six long years, my darling faithfully worked at his previous company, KIMP. He worked late overnight shifts and then switched to day shifts, working with his team as a leader who did not just check whether they finished their tasks but went beyond as a friend and brother.

Over the last 1 - 2 years, he really felt a desire to move to another level to grow in his career so he could better look after us and take our church to another level too. When he was thinking about all of this, he brought it straight to God. He prayed, ‘God, only if it’s Your will. I want to grow but I never want a job that takes me away from You, my family and the ministry.’ He put God first, surrendered his plans and waited, waited, waited... That is what I love most about my darling’s life from the day I got to know him.

He went through months of searching and so many interviews. There were times our faith shook but God kept proving Himself over and over, telling us, ‘I am with you.’

And last month, July, right on His perfect timeline, God showed up in a way we never expected. I am telling you, we never expected that this month would be the answer to our prayers! Aaron got a job at Oceans as a Senior Specialist - Business Operations 🥳 Seeing him so happy, fulfilled and valued in this new place brings tears to my eyes 🥹

Babe, I am so proud of you. You never chased status, you chased God’s heart. Seeing the messages from your previous team after six years, how you loved them, cared for them and showed them Jesus without even trying, proved that God never wastes your hard work.

Thank you, Lord, for Your unfailing grace. You didn’t just open a door, You gave us the absolute best 🙌🏻🥹

First times!

I thought I’d take Amy to the mall after school today. She thought we were going home, but as soon as she spotted the mall, she got so excited and said, ‘Amma I want corn’ 🤭

Had such a sweet time with our cutie until she finally said, ‘Amma I’m tired’ 😁❤️
