Hard to put into words how incredible the @secretlycanadian 30 year anniversary celebration was this weekend, an absolutely beautiful experience seeing so many amazing musicians and reliving a lot of great memories.

I’ll say this: @magnoliaandjohnsonelectricco is a special band.

I feel incredibly lucky to have seen Jason Molina play with them, and seeing them perform again without him was a mix of emotions. Will Johnson was phenomenal; a beautiful tribute to Jason while still very much being the great artist he is in his own right.

I’m just grateful I got to be there, especially at @thebluebirdbar, the same place I saw them play 20 years ago. A pretty special night.

Shout out to @groakus, who performed with the same energy, emotion, and passion as he did all those years ago. A truly talented artist.

A great experience I won’t soon forget.

Thank you @secretlycanadian for existing and being part of the fabric of a city I love so much.

We may have to play a couple songs from it at our hometown show this Thursday night 7p at @feelitrecordshop in Clifton! If you never grabbed a copy, you can get one online or when ya see us at the gig! Hope to see y’all there ✌️

Here’s a little trip down memory lane 💿
