Happy birthday to Coach @aaronsheckles ! He is my boxing coach, but over the years has become my brother, one of my best friends, and somebody that I really look up to.

I'll never forget the day my nephew TJ introduced us. TJ was a very special person, and I knew that Coach Aaron was too. I knew that day was much more than just an introduction.

We've been going at it as a team ever since that day. We are Area 502, but Coach definitely puts the FIVE in 502! Five Star Boxing is very important to me and to our gym. I really don't know where we would be without Coach Aaron. If Im ever having an off day I look over at Coach doing his thing and remember that there are no off days and I am right back to focus.

We have won battles, lost battles, gained family, lost family. But no matter what we always have each other's back and we are family. We ain't going anywhere, we right here...

Love you coach. Happy birthday to one of the best guys I know!

All of this happened in ONE WEEK at the 5...

🥊 We sent 3 boxers to Corbin, Kentucky — all 3 came home with wins.

🥋 @fjcontino traveled to Miami to make his professional MMA debut in an 8-man tournament. Felix fought 3 times in ONE NIGHT, battling his way all the way to the FINALS in his pro debut. Losing the the 10-0 @karatecombat champion.

🇺🇸 @oam.vant is representing Team USA and 5-Star Boxing in Canada.

🥊 @smitty_b7 is competing in kickboxing today right here in Louisville.

And that’s just ONE WEEK.

Last week, we had 4 fighters compete in MMA, and within this same month, we’ll have around 15 athletes competing in jiu-jitsu.

Boxing. MMA. Kickboxing. Jiu-Jitsu. National and International competition.
Different sports. Different cities. Different countries. Different levels. ONE TEAM. The 5 🖐

This is what being an active competition team looks like.
Whether your goal is to get in shape, learn martial arts, compete for the first time, or fight at the highest level — there’s a place for you here.

Youth Boxing - Area 502 x Five Star Boxing

From kids looking for a fun way to stay active and get off the screens to national and international competitors, our program is for everyone.

We've built one of the most established youth boxing programs in Louisville and the region. Our results speak for themselves—including two young men currently training at the Olympic Training Center who came up through the Five Star Boxing youth program.

Whether your child wants to compete, build confidence, get in shape, or just have fun, we'd love to have them in class.

📩 DM us to get started.
