In October 2024, this was my journey from Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa and back. A place I will never forget.

Today, watching these images feels completely different.

My heart goes out to the people of Syabrubesi and everyone affected by this terrible disaster. To those who have lost loved ones, homes, livelihoods, or are still waiting for news: my deepest thoughts are with you.

For me, Syabrubesi was the beginning and end of an unforgettable journey.

For so many others, it is home.

Today, this is not about my journey. It is about them.

Thinking of you, Nepal. 🙏🇳🇵#prayfornepal #syabrubesi #langtang #nepal #himalayas

First trek. First mountain view up close. Still processing how something so big made me feel so small and so alive. #khumaidadatrek🏔️
