2 years ago today I was able to donate a kidney to a friend. In the time since my life has remained relatively the same while his health has improved greatly. The scars fade, I drink a lot of water and eat less salt, we make “one kidney” weird jokes sometimes. I’m still amazed at the things science can do and I still don’t think I’m brave- just trying to live out what I believe and love with my actions.

If you have ever thought about kidney donation, reach out to me. So many people are waiting for organs that can save their lives!
