Field Productions markerte en gullalder for norsk skifilm fra midten av 2000-tallet frem til 2016. Nye filmskapere og en voksende skikultur skapte filmer som inspirerte en hel generasjon.
Vi tar et tilbakeblikk på høydepunktene som har satt en standard for hvordan utviklingen av norsk skifilm ser ut i dag.

The world’s elite in free-ride cycling was back for the 6th edition of Huckfest Bike Festival, and the second year off Fest Series action in Aal. The festival was sold out for the first time in history and the atmosphere was ⚡️!! On the program was a stunning @festseries show where @andreulacondeguy walked away with the title Best Line while 15 year old @bragevestavik made a significant impression! @jeffherb did the first ever front flip on the FMX ramp and was awarded with the best crash award (and a ruptured spleen) For some reason we arranged a Enduro competition.. will not do that again! #longlivejordie 🎥 by @blurmedia 📷 by @vegardphoto Thomas Soyland @martinidalen @hallingdalrides #huckfestbikefestival2014 #huckfestbikefestival

Huckfest 2013 marked the beginning of the @festseries The Huckfest crew had countless hours with building and shaping what was one of the biggest lines in Europe. When the festival getting close @makkedonia told he had invited some friends to Norway for the event. It was quite unbelievable when @vinknico @kurtsorge @andreulacondeguy @grahamagassiz @nickpescetto @samreynolds26 @louisreboul ++ showed up at the farm. Many will surely remember the insane bike show, but also concert with @goodbadzug! 2013 was also the first year with more injuries at the party than on bikes! Otherwise, a large damn circus tent was stolen from RedBull. Nothing seen, nothing heard, but it probably says something about the alcohol consumption and the party. Oh, and @andreasvold87 flipped the fmx ramp as the first Norwegian. The Huckfest kept going with the construction of the “Silo trail” and the first party at the Tveito farm. We had a party tent with bbq, bonfires and good friends! First year with guided trail tours, but the attendance was rather poor. The festival camp was on the lawn, and we went to see the yearly @hellbillies concert (Aal’s other great pride) in the evening. As the stars sparkled overhead and the music filled the air, the Hillbilly Huckfest 2010 proved once again to be a memorable celebration of outdoor adventure, and the bonds that unite the bike community! This year’s awards went to Huckmaster @helgestad aka Bøster, Rookie award for @henningmedgard Volunteer Award for @torotveito and festival manager @magnustveito Award for general “send it” @johnhavardgrogard #huckfestbikefestival2010 @terrengsykkel @friflytmag #thefinalhuckfest

Kinda crazy that its 10 years (today) since Supervention was released at the Norwegian cinemas.
Sometimes everything comes together, and the release of #Supervention was really one of those moments.
10 years of experience making ski films, of countless trails and errors, fun, high ambitions, and a crew of good friends both in front and behind the camera, made this dream a reality. Everyone contributing, putting in blood, sweat and tears for two years. They all made this into a film that I’m super proud of being a part of. And a film that was able to fulfill it’s simple, but maybe not easy, goal:
To make you want to go out and ski, ride and have fun!

It was a balancing act to try to make a skifilm that could entertain even “your mother”, but still be «core» enough for the die hard ski fans. Judging by the amount of people who watched it, and the reviews from everyone all ages and backgrounds, we’re humble and grateful to belive we succeeded!

That’s worth a celebration post, and to remember a film that definitely changed our lives, and hopefully also had an impact on others! Cheers to everyone involved: all the rider, the crew, those who helped out on all the locations we visited - and everyone involved in the post production process. And of course all the sponsors, partners and distributors!

Hope you’re all stoked for a new winter! And if you want to watch it again, it’s still available on iTunes.

For å sitere mannen og myten, som i en periode hadde skjegg, men barberte frivillig bort barten, @knutmyking så hadde vi en god del «SOGNAPOW» i vinteren 14/15. I Hodlekveskogen shuttlet vi så og si hver dag med Hiluxen til @uglahenjum og selv om det kun var fem(?) godkjente sitteplasser var det ikke et sjeldent syn at vi presset inn et tosifret antall personer. Tidvis kunne vi nok minne om et klovnenummer på Sikkus Arnardo. Det å være tilstede den aller første dagen da Sognaheisen i Heggis åpnet, det er noe jeg aldri kommer til å glemme. #1min
