A Beat of Our Own is one of the top 40 shows to watch in NY Times list today! 🙏❤️ Feeling such immense pride for every single member of this team! Huge Congrats to the authors @mike_lew_asian_playwright @rehanalewmirza @samwillmottviking who have nurtured this baby for 12 years! I cannot lie at times I’ve been WTAF am I doing here away from my kids for so so long - and just strutting around the place y’all, dancing, singing? Who do I think I am. But then my very clever husband reminds me. “Sohm you are living - LIVING your dreams and our kids seeing you live yours will help them make theirs come true.” What’s also reminded me every single day why I’m here is just the sheer amount of talent I get to witness from the SM’s to the CAST to CMs to the Creatives and the Music team. The dedication to this work from everyone has been an incredible experience already. So what you waiting for? Come see what all the fuss is about @mccartertheatre this Oct 7th to 25th @abeatofourownmusical 🙏❤️ @nytimes I promise you, you will be dancing out of your seat by the end! #bhangra #musical #broadwaybound #broadway #nytimes
