Such a fun (and warm!) fall afternoon in Gaslight Village! 🍂

We spent part of the weekend at the EGR Harvest & Beer Festival, enjoying local brews, great food, live music and all the fall energy along Wealthy Street.

The best part about it was it was a full afternoon ~ try a few beers, sample the food, listen to some music by the yetis GR and @ab.everywhere , then wander through the shops and restaurants throughout Gaslight Village.

The festival was free and open to the public, making it such an easy way to get out and enjoy one of our favorite East Grand Rapids neighborhoods.

Thanks for a great fall weekend, @gogaslight + @egrharvestbeerfestival! 🍺🍁

And if you haven’t spent an afternoon shopping and dining in Gaslight Village lately, add it to your fall list!

📷: thank you @thesocialgco for the clips!

An evening where fashion meets purpose. ✨

Last night, Urban You was honored to sponsor and attend the 21st annual Couture for a Cure, a glamorous celebration of Van Andel Institute’s 30th anniversary. An unforgettable evening where fashion, science, and philanthropy came together to celebrate creativity, innovation, and the power of community.

A special thank you to co-hosts Carol Van Andel and Rebecca Wierda for bringing this incredible evening to life. From the stunning runway presentation curated by the luxury fashion experts at Leigh’s to the exclusive Hellessy collection by featured designer Sylvie Millstein, the evening was a beautiful celebration of artistry, elegance, and the power of fashion to bring people together.

For three decades, Van Andel Institute has been advancing biomedical research and science education, pursuing discoveries and better treatments for cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and other life-changing conditions. Couture for a Cure brings our community together in support of this important work and the hope it creates for generations to come.

At Urban You, we believe that making people feel good goes far beyond the services we provide. It’s about showing up for our neighbors, investing in our community, and supporting the people and organizations working to make a difference.

That’s what Beyond Urban You is all about. 🤍

Giving back has always been part of who we are. Beyond Urban You is the name we’re giving to the causes we champion, the organizations we support, and our continued commitment to making an impact beyond our doors.

To Van Andel Institute, Carol Van Andel, Rebecca Wierda, the entire Leigh’s team, Sylvie Millstein and Hellessy, and everyone who made this extraordinary evening possible, thank you. We are incredibly proud to be a sponsor of Couture for a Cure and to stand alongside a community so dedicated to creating a brighter, healthier future.
