This past Saturday, on 17 July, was our 7th Vet Serve Day, in which two teams delivered care packages to 7 families across various neighborhoods in Birmingham, Alabama. Together we served meeting the needs of local veterans transitioning from a homeless season into their Birmingham home.

Thank you to the organizations @churchofthehighlands and @unitedwayofcentralal. Additionally, big thank you’s to the volunteers that put the care packages together, and visited each family.

Yesterday’s 2021 Memorial Day Challenge was fantastic! A beautiful day, held at Godspeed Elite Sports Academy in Hoover, Alabama.

Veterans, civilians, men, women, and children all came together to sweat! Completing a 2-mile run, 300 squat, 200 push-up, and 100 pull-up fitness challenge. All remembering and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Thank you to the volunteers from @godspeedesa, friends, and family for your time making this event possible. Special shoutouts to @lifechangedrg and chapter captain @the_nate_todd! 🦅🔥

And, last but certainly not least, thank you to our vendors from @calacoffeebhm @hasbro_designs @wasabijuans and @steelcitypops

We look forward to working with you all in the near future!

This Saturday morning was hot, and humid!

But, that couldn’t stop the teams from @churchofthehighlands, @unitedwayofcentralal, and @teamrwbbham from getting together to serve our local veterans!

Big salute to all the volunteers who invested their time this morning, and many thank you’s for the donations we received!

Each month, our goal is to meet the needs of local veterans that are transitioning from a homeless season placement into their Birmingham home.

Again, thank you for making this possible!

Good morning, Birmingham, Alabama!

This past weekend, May 1st, we celebrated Veterans Serve Day. In which, three wonderful organizations @churchofthehighlands , @unitedwayofcentralal , & @teamrwbbham together, prepped, and delivered care packages to local military veterans.

All stand proud, dedicated in showing love, and appreciation to our local vets. By providing hope, and a hand-up in their season of life for their years of sacrifice to our great nation.

Thank you to the new, and familiar volunteers for your time this past weekend!

Happy New Year!

Today was the first Veterans Serve Day of 2021, and probably one of coldest mornings of the new year!

However, volunteers from Team RWB of Birmingham, Church of the Highlands and Priority Veteran, stood together, delivering heart warming care packages to our veterans across the Birmingham area.

Thank you to all those involved, for your time and your effort! This monthly event brings our veterans basic necessities, hope, and shows how much their community cares.

May this new year come with an abundance of blessings.

The team was in full effect yesterday participating at the BHM26.2. Do it for yourself. Run for the kids.

We had eagles everywhere carrying old glory through Homewood, either running the half-marathon, or the 5K run. And, cheering on fellow runners at our RWB cheer station. Such a great time with good people, and music too!

Additionally, all proceeds from the event go to benefit Magic Moments, the only wish-granting organization devoted exclusively to children in Alabama with chronic life-threatening illnesses, and Children’s of Alabama.
