Every GMB journey has a moment that stands out.

We asked a former queen (@aba__gh ) to share her favourite episode from her GMB journey. Here’s what made it unforgettable.

We did it guys!!

You can be at the bedside and still be exceptional. You can be at the bedside and still create impact beyond the wards. That word bedside carries so much power, and this is the narrative we are choosing to build.

This event was just the beginning of raising nurses and midwives who are different, intentional, and impactful in every space they find themselves.

I’m deeply grateful to our amazing speakers, Helena Baaba Esq @aba__gh Sarah Nkansah Boateng, Jennifer (Midwife Jenny Sweet) @midwife_jennysweet and Alisha Diggs @alisha.onthemove not forgetting Bernice @just_me_berny for pouring into us and making this moment what it was.

And to everyone who showed up in that room thank you. This was more than an event. It’s a community. We’re looking out for each other, growing together, and pushing each other higher.

We are changing the narrative. We are telling our own stories.

From being a doula in the morning 🤍
To speaking, connecting, and mentoring midwives 💬
To ending the night bringing a little angel into the world 👶🏽✨

Some days remind me that this is more than a profession…
It’s purpose. It’s impact. It’s calling 💫

Midwifery beyond the bedside 🤍

She @aba__gh said YES!

I’m so excited to share that Baaba, our very own nurse lawyer will be joining us for the lunch date

Trust me, everyone in the room is about to experience insight, depth, and brilliance from someone who beautifully blends nursing and law.

This is one conversation you don’t want to miss.

Today is a full-circle moment for me.

I’m honoured to have served as a panelist @gdnalliance 3rd annual Midwives and Nurses Conference. Standing there, lending my voice to conversations shaping the future of healthcare, reminded me how far this journey has come.

I want to say a very big thank you to my mum—for seeing a future in me when I couldn’t see it myself. For believing in midwifery for me, even when my heart was unsure. Mum, your vision became my purpose.

And to my mentor@Sa-ada Sadique thank you for believing in my voice and connecting me to this opportunity. Mentorship changes lives, and I am living proof.

This moment is not just mine. It belongs to everyone who believed, supported, and prayed. I’m grateful—and I’m just getting started #VoiceOfChange
