Lots of bruises, little sleep. Little WiFi, but a hell lot of connection. I was there, but watching this video gives me fomo.

Thank you Campers, for your amazing vibes, the memories, the chants, the late night cuddles, for only breaking one table, for all the chaos and the music and the costumes and the … everything!

Our first Camp Big Daddy, the biggest Nomad Summer Camp in history, is officially over. We are tired, but we are happy.

Let this be the first of many unforgettable Camp Big Daddys 🙌

PLUSH live at Daisy Jones with special guests Murray
Friday, 13 February 2026 | Daisy Jones, Stellenbosch

TICKETS: https://qkt.io/VG3Jd2

There are some nights that feel less like a gig and more like a gathering of stories, sweat, nostalgia and volume. This is one of those nights.
On Friday 13 February, Daisy Jones opens its doors to an evening of homegrown alternative rock, funk, and heart, as PLUSH return to the stage with support from the ever-unpredictable Murray.

Doors open: 17h00
Murray on stage: 19h30
PLUSH on stage: 20h30

Family friendly however we regret no under 12’s.

Murray
Four musicians (sometimes two), plenty of mileage, and zero interest in playing it safe. murray. have done things the hard way often enough to know exactly what not to do — and that’s where the magic lies.
Their sound sits somewhere between Red Hot Chili Peppers swagger, Lenny Kravitz cool, and the song-driven soul of Dave Matthews Band. Funky, loose, and unapologetically alive, murray. are the kind of band that makes you forget you’re standing still. With one half of the band heading to the UK and Ireland later this year, this set is a reminder of why local stages still matter.

PLUSH
More than twenty-five years since their first small-stage beginnings on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, PLUSH return — not chasing a comeback, but answering the pull of the music itself.
With four full-length albums, multiple EPs, and a string of No.1 radio hits, Plush wrote songs that became part of people’s lives — the kind you associate with road trips, breakups, friendships, and freedom. Their shows built a devoted following that crossed provinces and continents, bonded by emotional honesty and shared memory.
Now reunited — Rory Eliot, Emelio Gassibe, Carl Wegelin, and Devin Jones — Plush are back to do what they’ve always done best: find the pocket, let the songs breathe, and sing them with the people who never let them go.
Older, wiser, grounded — and still driven by the same heart.

Cold drinks, warm air, and songs that refuse to fade.
This is not just a show — it’s a reunion.

This week’s best new music runs the full spectrum from gqom to glam-flecked punk. It’s a selection defined by artists honing in on their sound, and delivering tracks that are undeniably their own.

This incredible headless Cort belongs to @cjduckitt of @abandcalledmurray. Got a quick snap outside of @thehouseofmachines_cpt yesterday. Super fun band.

I love Corts. My main squeeze right now is a KX307 Multi Scale 7 string. Almost got a 6 string Cort bass on Black Friday, but then I got this lens instead. Mildly regret not getting the bass...

🗓️ Every Sunday (until end of March)
