And you’ll never look back, no you never look back 🔄 give us back our time, and we’d surely spend it the same way, catching the commanding @katenash whenever she heads our way 🎸 like when she treated us to 9 Sad Symphonies back in 2024 🎼 join the chorale when she returns at @sidthecatauditorium on Nov. 14th 🦜 #throwback Photos by @abaxley 🎞️

The first ever Sublime show was in a backyard on the 4th of July, leading to many more. This year, nearly 40 years since that first show, we found ourselves gathering to jam on 4th and decided to film it. Check out the full FTR MV on our YouTube channel 🙌 📷: 1 @yeahshitalright 4 @abaxley

Today is my daughter's birthday. Born in Tokyo and spending her early childhood in the heart of the city, she later moved to Zushi; then, swept up in the ambitions that drove my own tumultuous life, she relocated to Hawaii. Growing up there—while we managed a business on the U.S. mainland—she lived a life that took her back and forth between California and Hawaii, allowing her to be raised amidst two distinct cultures. We always encouraged our children to discover their talents; she loved to sing, and the guitar we gave her became an emotional anchor during her teenage years, leading her to join a band. She also developed a love for theater and even majored in it for a time. However, unable to settle on just one path, she moved to the mainland and—following my advice and the career path I had once. There, while interning and managing the blog for a small clothing brand, she became deeply immersed in photography, a subject she had minored in at university. She began documenting the life and music of the punk rock band her younger brother (eight years her junior) had started. Upon turning thirty, she finally discovered her true calling and began to come into her own truly. Along this journey, she met a husband—a man almost too wonderful for her—and they are now happily married, running a successful business centered on their shared passions and living with their beloved cat. She also reunited with her father after twenty-five years of silence, and is gradually learning to love this other father—with whom she shares the same birthday. Happy birthday, my daughter. As a mother, I am so proud of you for staking everything on your passion—something I was never able to do myself.

POV: Die hard Green Day fan of 33 years and investor of Legion M, invited to the movie premiere of NIMRODS MOVIE!!! I am so humbled and speechless over last night. They say don’t meet your heroes because you will be disappointed. They lie. I didn’t know I could love the whole Green Day family any more than I already do, but here it is. Cambria and I were made to feel so comfortable and welcomed there by everyone, as if we belonged. We kept wondering how the hell this was real life. Still not sure, but I do know you should call up your friends and go see Nimrods this weekend in a theater near you!! ⚡️Warning⚡️It’s loaded with the best songs, and may make you wanna dance 💃💚✨🎶🎸🥁 #nimrodsmovie #greenday#billiejoearmstrong #agreendaystory #legionm
