Today in Kaduna, I had the honour and privilege of attending the KADAF 4.0, a 2 days conference — the Kaduna Architects Forum Annual Conference, organized by the Kaduna Architects Forum under the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Kaduna State Chapter.

The conference, themed “From Resilience to Regeneration: Rebuilding Kaduna’s Built Environment,” provided a valuable platform for professional engagement, knowledge exchange, and dialogue on sustainable urban development and the future of Kaduna’s built environment.

The theme underscores the importance of transforming urban challenges into opportunities for regeneration through sustainable design, resilient infrastructure, improved planning, and the creation of functional, inclusive, and thriving communities.

Beyond honored, I had the privilege to meet my mentor, Arc. Binta Usman Danmaliki, Chairperson of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Kaduna State Chapter.

An inspiring and enriching experience that reinforces my commitment to architectural excellence, continuous professional development, and contributing to a more sustainable built environment.
