These videos are embarrassing, but whatever. 😂

The truth is, we need our vendors.

Wedding planners can plan and organize and make all the timelines in the world — but we cannot do this without the incredibly talented people who show up and bring it all to life.

And they need us, too.

The best weddings happen when the planner, venue, caterer, florist, photographer, band, rental team and every other person behind the scenes are working together — helping each other, communicating, problem solving and occasionally being complete goofballs together.

We all need one another.

And I wouldn’t want to do this without them. 🤍

NBC Connecticut and Telemundo Connecticut are proud to be able to help local organizations in our communities expand and meet their goals.

This year we were able to grant over $272,000 to local nonprofits through our Local Impact Grants program.

The right fit matters on both sides of a kitchen project.

During our conversation with CT LIVE’s Abbey Carnivale, Jason explained why we encourage homeowners to compare their options before choosing a cabinet company.

Our goal is to build a partnership based on trust and confidence from the very beginning.

Thank you to @nbcctlive and @abbey_carnivale for visiting Dean Cabinetry!

In my latest fitness segment on @nbcctlive, we’re showing how everyday fall activities like picking pumpkins and raking leaves mirror traditional strength training exercises. 🍂🎃

Join @abbey_carnivale and I for a segment on @nbcctlive for ideas to create a rich fall table scape.

🍁 Flowers are always a lovely way to bring in autumn hues like burnt orange, and dahlias are perfect right now. Or skip the florist and gather a bowl of white pumpkins for a seasonal centerpiece.

🍂 Candles add impact for very little, from votives to pillars and tapers. If you're the host who always forgets to light them (like me), set a pretty match striker on the table. The oversight feels intentional, and guests can help out!

🍁 Wood feels right for fall. Nesting bowls, serving pieces, cutting boards: one material can pull the whole table together.

🍂 Add something interactive for guests, like a holiday popper at each place setting.

🍁 Place cards take the guesswork and stress out of hosting. Decide where everyone sits so they don't have to.

🍂 Handwrite or print menu cards. Less explaining for the host, and I place them on my serving pieces before the event as reminders. It's how I make sure the buffet is set, I have the right number of dishes, and there's space for everything. A true day-of time saver.

This is our favorite time of year to host. Enjoy the season!

Thank you @nbcctlive for having me! Link in bio to watch the segment.
