Would you ever let someone edit/cover your work/art?

Over the last few weeks, few months I’ve either approached or discussed with a few friends about me attempting to edit a few of their photos, seeing if I can add my touch to images that in my opinion are already beautiful.
BUT just recently another friend had his photo(s) without his permission taken and edited.
His frustration in my opinion was justified.

When you do that you not only dishonor yourself, but you also disrespect and dishonor the person who created/procured the source.
There are honorable and respectful ways to come to a common ground on such matters. You don’t sneak in like a thief in the night and take from them what was hard work to procure in the first place.

In my friend’s place I also would be frustrated, but maybe a bit flattered?
I, however, would like to have been approached first before you took from me a piece that I worked hard for and placed your name on it.
This situation has made me a bit weary about editing other people’s photos because even though I would have gotten them honestly, there’s the perfectionist in me that wonders would I do right by those images, would I do justice to the photographer who procured those images?

Happy Happy 20th Birthday to my beautiful daughter!

I can’t believe my little girl is now officially in her 20’s! Abbey, you are such a huge blessing to your family, your friends, and everyone who knows you. Your big heart of compassion for others and your genuine love for Jesus are such a light in this dark world. I’m so grateful for the godly, kind, and purpose driven woman you’re becoming. To say we are proud of you is an understatement, and I can’t wait to see what the next few years hold for you!
