✨How To Train Your Dragon✨

Crowd Hair and Makeup Supervisor @m_robyn_w @httydragon
Plenty of craic was had everyday - here’s some snippets of the glam hub between the rain, mud, dirt and wefts!

Everyone was so supportive of each other - the majority of artists bought BraveheartsNI merch to support my charity, wearing it proudly on set!! Words can’t describe how much I genuinely loved this job. Every day was such a pleasure and a real giggle. A highlight of my career so far.

2024 PT1-
This was by far one of the most special years for me; the year my dream career started, and I met some of the most important people in my life!
@m_robyn_w I can never thank you enough for for trusting me and giving me the start that so many h/muas can only dream of. HTTYD was my absolute dream job and I still pinch myself over the fact I was able to work on it!

Everyone in our crowd room and main team, thank you for sharing your never ending knowledge and kindness when I was so green to the crazy world that is film and tv! I learned so much skill wise and about myself, and it was all down to all of you beautiful souls and the lovely atmosphere created by @m_robyn_w 🥲
Here’s to 2025- and hopefully to more exciting projects! ❤️❤️

Ready to get your Grinch on? Check out this cool behind the scenes of @abbeyo.makeup
creating her grinch prosthetic using our @titanicfx Prosthetic Gelatine.

Reposted from @abbeyo.makeup

Grinch Prosthetic: Part 2

Using prosthetic gelatine from @titanicfx and will probably make another with silicone too!

So happy with this, I can’t wait to complete the look.
Just thinking now, what should I make next?

a look i forgot to post ! a bit of ageing done w/liquid latex and contouring shadows/highlighters - was stressed about this look as my original was a no go when my postiche piece did not arrive😖

i find working w/crepe hair to be tedious and fiddly however i liked how it turned out in the end☺️

thank you to my model @abbeyo.makeup for taking on the character of “ethel darling” from ahs - season 4, freakshow !

Brushing up on some make up skills today 👩‍🎨. It’s been a longgg time since I’ve had to do a bald cap, so this refresher course with @makeupjar was an amazing opportunity to learn some new tricks and techniques and get some much needed practice 🙌. Such a fun day! Thanks to @abbeyo.makeup for being such a wonderful, patient model! 🫶 Always learning, practicing, growing! 💕💕💕 #makeup #makeupartist #makeuptutorial #sfx #sfxmakeup #sfxmakeupartist #baldcap #baldcapmakeup #learning #learningisfun

-AIR AMBULANCE TRAINING DAY-

I had such a blast working at @official_grassmen farm for the @airambulance_ni training day for their paramedics and the fire service and rescue staff. We spent all day simulating real life scenarios with both live actors and dummies.

1) @vondoesmakeup , @abbeyo.makeup & myself working on the silicone dummies
2) @niamhmajmakeup modelling beautifully a nasty head wound
3) puncture wound on our silicone dummy
4) simulation of a cardiac event brought on by a bull horn injury
5) a premature baby blue due to lack of oxygen
6) myself applying blood to a head wound under a lorry
7) @glitter_in_a_bin modelling a nasty black eye
8) firefighters cutting someone out of an overturned lorry

Well folks.....it's been a minute since we last posted, but never fear, we haven't exactly been sitting idle.

Since the last update we have been hard at work, editing and the good news is that Thordang is now finally finished!!! 😀

To celebrate, here is another teaser trailer to wet all your horrific/mythological/gruesome appetites!!

Our next step is submitting to film festivals all around the world before we can once and for all finally release it to all you fine folk.
Enjoy!!
