A beautiful glam on an even more beautiful person (who just happens to save lives AND be a total weapon on the field).

Honestly, not my finest moment telling a pro athlete she looks super fit and asking if she plays sport cus she looks like she could go run a marathon 🤦🏻‍♀️.

So much respect for these women, representing a sport and team, whilst still working full-time. The juggling act is real and shows just how much love and passion they have for their sport (and in my view, the work that still needs to be done to give our womens' sports the exposure and funding they deserve 🙌🙌🙌).

AUSTRALIAN JILLAROOS
WORLD CUP SQUAD

Jillaroos Coach Jess Skinner has named her squad for the upcoming World Cup.

Roosters two time premiership winning captain Isabelle Kelly has been appointed as the new Australian captain, adding yet another bow to the ribbon of a spectacular year, could be the first female to captain her club state and country to glory all in the same season.

Several of Kelly's premiership winning teammates have also been selected including rugby convert Sariah Paki and Jocelyn Kelleher who are in line to make their test debut, and Makenzie Weale is the other uncapped player in the squad.

Jaime Chapman & Shaylee Bent have been recalled with Chapman in line for her first Test since 2023, while Bent hasn't played since the 2021 World Cup in the UK.

Retiring veteran Ali Brigginshaw has been left out of the squad altogether, with Skinner deciding to go with Jocelyn Kelleher, Tarryn Aiken and Jesse Southwell as her halves.
