We asked our artists what it means to live an ideal life—and it’s no surprise that many of their designs are rooted in nature. 🌿 On this Earth Day, we celebrate the beauty of the natural world and our deep connection to it—a connection that inspires purpose, creativity, and a life well-lived. 🌎✨ #EarthDay #IdealCreations #LiveWithPurpose

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT °。°。°。°。°。°。 Colby Clarke - Swapparel My pieces satirize how graphic designers don't like when people change existing structures, in this case apparel, that have been already perfected according to them. I decided to turn apparel design on its head by taking the essence of popular articles of apparel and swapping them with another one to create new mashed-up clothing, or "swapparel." The designs themselves are poking fun at the tiny white behind-the-neck tags filled with an overload of information which are so much of a nuisance that they are often cut out. To challenge that, I made them the center of attention so that there is no way to ignore or remove them. Abbi Bennett - Transitional Release “Transitional Release” is the name of an exhibition showcasing paintings by Amina Coleman-Davis. Working as a curator and designer of this exhibition, I came up with the identity for the exhibition. Amina uses her practice as a way to grieve and remember her ancestors claiming that death is a “transitional release,” and is something that should be celebrated. The collection of paintings present in the exhibition is called “Scribbled with Love,” thus the scribbledness of the identity. I was intrigued by her bush strokes and the flow of her work, picking out specific strokes that stood out specifically for the identity. Creating this exhibition identity has given me the opportunity to view death in a new way, while also learning how to properly exhibit someone else’s work in a way that does it justice. angie fabien - Finding My Way to The Art World From dreaming of lego construction and coloring books to battling doubts and finding my creative voice my journey has been a rollercoaster. Along the way I discovered the power of staying true to myself, whether it was through illustrations for mental health awareness or envisioning a sustainable future through storytelling. My final project is a heartfelt narrative bound with handmade paper infused with memories of past struggles. This project is not just a reflection of my journey, but a beacon of hope for anyone facing doubts on their path to fulfillment.
