I think I am falling in love with the desert.

Tomorrow night we’re off to see my little brother Gagey crushing life at CU Boulder and to top it off catch @goosetheband play a show at Red Rocks.

If this is what 30 feels like, I’m down.

Check out this Bull trout !!!!! Don’t sleep on the Krabby Patty formula. We also saw a double rainbow and Abbs took the coolest picture ever of it. This is mine but hers is way cooler. I’m a big rainbow guy. Also, look at that Bull trout, come on now !! #trouthunters #allabouttheclout #troutsandstuff

Augustus gloop Augustus gloop, the big-fat ole nincompoop

That’s my way of saying happy August, friends and family.

This is what we’ve been up. Fishing for Bulls and Brooks, waterskiing or waterfalling - however you want to call it, sunnies blooming, compost composting , homemade tortilla endeavor (that one might take me a lifetime to figure out, my good friend and brother @henripfeifle came for a visit, and Lils is getting older every day.

@joemathews_15_39 said all I do is post about my garden , so I decided to post more about my garden. I also added the hyper filter this time so it’s just like BAM in your face!!

No but seriously it’s been an amazing journey and summer has treated us well. Sometimes I complain about the heat. But then I think about January and everything’s better.

Happy summer folks and friends

Horse manure might not sound glamorous—but for vermicomposting, it’s absolute gold 🪱

This is why:

• It’s already partially broken down, making it easier for worms to digest

• Packed with nutrients that turn into rich, fertile castings

• Holds moisture beautifully (worms LOVE a damp environment)

• Has a great texture that keeps your bin aerated and balanced

Plus, when it’s aged properly, it’s low odor and safe for your worm crew. It’s basically the perfect “fast food” for worms—helping them reproduce faster and produce more nutrient-dense compost 🌱

It’s a natural powerhouse! 💩 🪱

Still kinda reeling from last weeks trip to Steely country. What an absolute beast this guy was. Pure, wild, Idaho Steelhead. Such a privilege to shake hands with these historic creatures.
