What an amazing opportunity to see how God is not just God of our circumstances, but a God who loves us and knows us wherever we are. These kids had so much joy and love, they were true representation of what the light of Jesus looks like. The community here is unlike any other. Many of these kids didn’t have close to anything but they had everything through their Heavenly Father. This trip was life bringing, Thank you Jesus for all the new and exciting experiences! May He be one greater and I become less - John 3:30🤍

God of all nations. No many words can describe this trip, but one comes to mind. Transformation. I came on this trip ready to serve, well God was transforming my heart all along. Through out this trip i was reminded that God is moving in powerful ways all over the world. His love knows no borders, no language barriers, and no limits. Kenya showed me no matter your circumstances, background, or what your life looks like, God is present. He remains faithful, and invites every heart to know him. During my time with kids, families, teachers, social workers, and the people who traveled with me, i witnessed faith that wasn’t dependent on comfort or convenience. I watched people worship with everything they have. Faith moves mountains, and i watched it with my own eyes. Stepping into the unknown is scary, and traveling across the world leaving familiar behind is too. obedience is rarely comfortable, but is necessary. Thank you Jesus for this opportunity. thank you for every child i met, every family i talked to, every person i was with. Kenya will hold this special place in my heart forever🇰🇪❤️ thank you @mohiafrica @ccv_students

oh Kenya… you were so amazing. the absolute  best trip ever! this year i had the opportunity to go to Kenya to serve these cute kids and high school girls. i miss them all so much. i will never forget them. at first i was so nervous to go and i was thinking that i would do something wrong. but i stepped out of my comfort zone in many different ways on this trip in ways i did not think i could. but when i got there the first day i was like oh this is exactly where im supposed to be. i am so grateful i went. thank you for everyone that supported me and prayed for me!

“We hope God blesses you in your country, and we hope you felt loved in ours.” I came into this trip unsure of my ability to reach people. Through every doubt, God, my team, and the students in Kenya carried me. Thank you Lord for every dance, every word, every song, and every perspective I learned. The hope I got to see in Kenya was extraordinary. There is a sense of heartbreak, a feeling that I just left behind a home. But there’s also the rhythm of their joy etched into my heart, the vivid memory of gentle hands braiding my hair and the laughters of countless children echoing through my mind. I have been blessed to witness the faith and hope that shines in this country; and that makes me even more ecstatic to see the Lord continue His work.

I legitimately could not tell you what the best part of the week was. I mean, the best group of girls in all of CCV…. That’s pretty awesome. Especially when amazing girls results in some pretty amazing conversations and even better laughs (the kind that leaves your ribs aching kind of laughs) The music was rockin. The messages held conviction. My time with Selena as my co-coach was invaluable and something that will forever remain a core memory. But if you were going to make me pick a best part, then I could easily point to the clear and visible fingerprints of God over this whole experience. His hands were over us. His hands were with us. The answer to prayers were real and concrete. God was in this space all week long. Yeah, that. That was the best part. #ccv_students #highschool #nextchapter

what a week it has been!! these past four days has made it EVIDENT that there is a God who is working everything for good!! I am so honored and blessed to have been a part of such a christ-centered ministry that pours into its students!! the past 5 years has been a blessing within itself! No matter how far you think you are, you are NEVER too far gone for Jesus!!!!! - - - “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
