He’s a forgiving God! 🤍 #basecamp2026

base camp this summer was especially meaningful because i wasn’t only experiencing God’s work in my own life, but i also had the opportunity to watch Him work in the lives of the students around me.

i found a deeper understanding of God’s grace. Ephesians 2:8 was a reminder that grace isn’t something we earn through perfection or good works but a gift from God, received through faith. we serve a forgiving God who meets us where we are and continually invites us closer to Him.

i’ve left this week grateful for the ways God challenged me, grew me, and allowed me to be a part of what He was doing in the lives of these students. we don’t serve a God who asks us to be perfect before coming to Him, we serve a forgiving God whose grace is greater than our shortcomings, who pursues us with love, and continually draws us closer to Him. 🤍

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8
