#process #creator #play #crying #health I shot this video on a day in Spring of 2025 when I made what I thought was a mistake, but within minutes I realized this wasn’t an accident. This was the game asking for my vision to have tears in CONNECTION QUEST! Be added back onto the board & offered another mechanic that I had been considering in an earlier version. The emotion cards are now an optional aspect of gameplay – and can even be used as a standalone reflective moment in therapy, or the classroom, and even among families at home. Needle felting is a quiet, chill, and sweet activity that provides quick results. It is an easy hobby to start, even if you are intimidated, because there are no rules

#process March 2024 in Altadena CA #mentalhealth #boardgames So interesting to look back at how in many of my pictures I’m wearing a #maine shirt or hat…Literally, one year after this video, in March 2025 I would relocate to midcoast Maine after surviving the Eaton Canyon Fire. CONNECTION QUEST! Survived tooooo! #nervoussystemregulation

#process CONNECTION QUEST! A little board game about big feelings! Was born in Altadena CA & had many different versions as I worked & puzzled out how to simplify & introduce the mammalian autonomic nervous system pathway of regulation and survival to children as young as four years old. I documented every step of the way, and my heart was filled with joy and love for the next generation – the youngest inheritors of our beautiful planet. Link in bio if you would like to donate to the ongoing fundraising cause in order to get this collaborative, hand painted, & game changing board game out into the world! THANK YOU!!!#mentalhealth #kids #nervoussystemregulation #mentalhealthawareness

If you had the good luck to grow up in the great state of Maine, maybe you know a schooner caption like the lovely @captnosh from a long-ago-and-still-very-present version of your life and maybe you save your pennies to come back (like a summer person, somehow) to sail around the coast on the @theschoonerstephentaber and quiet down from laughing and trying to keep the running jokes going long enough to listen to the golden hour harmonies of Louisa Stancioff @lou_wee_za and Ellie.✨

C’mon. Sometimes you get lucky.

Today she’s reading Three Ducks Went Wandering a fun tale of three little ducks, a big angry bull, and an unexpected twist in the field 🦆🐮

Thanks, Patty, for the wonderful read! 💛
