I don’t even know where to start. I am in awe with God right now. He has really showed up for me along with these students and the rest of the staff+volunteers.

When I was these girls’ age (11-13) I was not pursuing God. I didn’t know Him. But watching these girls worship and chase after Him has been so healing in my heart. I am so blessed with the opportunity to be their mentor and friend.

Going into camp I was terrified. Saying things like “middle schoolers are scary” or “what if they don’t like me”. And God practically slapped me in the face with His truth.

Although these messages and sermons were written for the students my heart was so open. I learned that those things I thought were true were just lies from the enemy. And that the best way to combat them is with the truth. The word.

Ephesians 6:10-13 tells us “Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens. For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.”
‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10-13 CSB)

So equip yourself for the battle that is spiritual warfare. Fight against the lies in your head with truth. That you are loved and chosen. That you are fearfully and wonderfully made. That you were made on purpose for a purpose.
