i can't even put into words what this weekend meant.
an absolute honor. there is no greater thing then the presence of the Lord, and hundreds of people decided to give their life to Christ. and what a privilege to be apart of that. and an even bigger privilege serving alongside one of my besties🫶🏼

47 hours. 47 hours i was in the production world in 3 days. and people think im crazy, but i have to say this was one of the best weekends ive had in a while. despite tears shed, an ankle down, little sleep - the Lord provided over it all. And call me insane, but i loved to be apart of the set up & load out. i was met with some of the most amazing people from stage worx who took time to answer my questions, show me the ropes (or should i say wires) and i couldn't be more grateful. they can call me crazy all they want but i had a blast talking their ears off and calling them my besties all weekend (even have nicknames already😌). so thank you to all who let me learn! cheers to finding the place i can see the Lord has called me to and continues to lead me. couldn't be happier than in production🤪 and on the plus side, i think we don't gotta worry about the broken LEDs at church anymore😂 speaking of which... when can i build my next LED wall??👀
anywho. long sappy post to say i'm grateful for the long hours, the Lords guidance and His continuous love <3

Dear Dance,

Dance has been my whole world since I was 3 years old. It’s all I’ve ever known, the place I grew up, the place I found myself, and the place that shaped me into who I am today.

From long nights in the studio, to my years as a Flyerette, to living out my dream as a Lionette… every single step, every practice, every performance has meant everything to me. Dance wasn’t just something I did, it was who I was.

I am so honored and grateful to say that along this journey, I was able to be part of 2 national titles in high school and 3 national titles in college, this is something I will cherish forever and never take for granted.

It gave me confidence when I didn’t have it. It gave me a second family. It gave me purpose, passion, and a love that I truly don’t think anything else could ever replace.

I honestly don’t know what life looks like without dance. That’s the hardest part. Letting go of something I’ve dedicated my entire life to is something I’ll never fully be ready for.

To all of my teammates: thank you for becoming my family, my support system, and my best friends. And to my coaches, thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and especially… for putting up with my goofy self all these years. I wouldn’t be who I am without you. Of course, thank you to my family for always supporting me through it all.

But if there’s one thing I know, it’s that dance will always be a part of me.

Thank you for everything, but don’t worry I’ll still be around :) Make sure to mop the floor out there for me and go beast mode 🦁❤️

I love you all to the bandshell and back x100000
