A summer of genuine friendship leads to genuine happiness leading to genuine faith. I am so thankful for the people I got to spend this summer with! I think I laughed more this summer than I ever have. I don’t really have words other than thank you! I this summer has been amazing!

I can only tag 20 people… sorry

So basically- God has a lot of really cool names, He also has really amazing children that I got to be friends with and work alongside this summer, and He is very much working in the hearts of countless young people through this wonderful ministry that I got to be a small part of this summer. What a blessing it was to witness God moving in Iowa this summer!!

…stay tuned for some more updates from Iowa throughout this next year 😜

Man oh man! What a summer! It started off with doing something out of my comfort zone and then wanting to quit during week 2 of staff training and then ending up staying the whole summer. And what a joy and blessing it was to stay the whole summer! I got to be the mime 2 times, went to day camp 2 times, had 4 weeks of family camp, one week off and one week on maintenance! And it was all a joy and a blessing even through the tough moments. Got to meet so many new people and old friends and hear so many stories! But what in absolute awe was I when I got to hear the kids sing the songs we teach them and remember some of what we teach them! Can never and will never take the credit for that, it was all God! What an incredible summer and it’s all thanks to an awesome God!

Thank you IOLBC for being my 2nd home for 12 years. The amount of friendships that come from this place are incredible and I can’t wait to go back next year to see everyone who I love so dearly. Thank you God for sending me and family here year after year to learn more about you. To know His name.
