And by the grace of God, I did💛

I am absolutely and gratefully honored to be named your 2026 Golden Niner, an honor that means more to me than a name, sash, or pickaxe. It represents the culmination of the mentorship, leadership, and excellence that Charlotte poured into me, as well as what I try to pour back into my campus every day.

It was nothing short of a blessing to stand alongside such accomplished and impactful individuals such as the Niner 9. I cherish every moment I spent alongside you all sharing our stories and celebrating Hoco. And thank you to everyone who listened, especially those who voted and helped give voice to this beautiful tradition.

To my family, friends, communities, and to @islandmadetrin & @jazminpeoples_ who ran my campaign, words can’t describe how full my heart is with love for y’all. The faith you’ve had in me has always been stronger than the doubt I’ve ever had in myself. “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:20. Above all else, glory to God, for through Him, a dream was made reality.

A Purpose fulfilled. A Niner made Golden.

Some songs don't just fill a dance floor.

They become part of the memory.
