Still trying to figure out how to put this trip into words. 🖤🌊

I’ve spent so much of my life loving movies and television, not just watching them, but dreaming about being part of the worlds that people create. So getting to come down to Charleston, celebrate Outer Banks, meet some of the incredible people who helped bring this show to life, and just exist in the excitement surrounding its final season was genuinely surreal.

There’s something especially emotional about celebrating a show as it reaches the end of its story. Five seasons, so many memories, so many people behind the scenes, and an entire community that grew around it. Getting to see even a little bit of that up close was such a gift.

But honestly, one of my favorite parts of all of this was looking around and realizing I have friends who will actually say yes to doing things like this with me. 😭

Friends who will get in the car. Go somewhere random. Eat good food. Take a million pictures. Let me completely lose my mind over film and television. Make memories just because we can.

I’d already gotten to spend part of this trip doing what I love on a movie set, and then somehow I got to follow that up with this. Like??? This is my LIFE lately??? 😭🎬

I’m leaving Charleston ridiculously grateful—for the people I met, the conversations I got to have, the memories we made, and these girls for being down for another one of my adventures.

I cannot express how much fun I had, and how exciting it was to get to meet so many new faces and friends at the event this past week! I absolutely fell in love with the store itself, and the people were just as amazing and lovely; even more so. I can’t wait to come back and see you guys, but until then, P4L baby 🤙🏼☀️🐚🌊🤍

P.S. did you guys see me get drenched in episode 10? Lost my contacts and my portable charger that day. Ahh, good times 🫪

Last night we screened the @canonevent.co documentary, and I’m still not over what was created. It was perfect.

It’s surreal that @universatile101 heard about the project and wanted to film a full length documentary about it. Every choice was perfect and intentional. @sarah_elizabethphotog and I ended up on a long phone call on our drive home just talking through everything we felt — and we both walked away even more inspired to keep doing this work.

Watching it, I witnessed the soul of Canon Event on every level we’ve intended from the beginning: this is not just a creative project. It’s love. It’s creativity. It’s the best parts of humanity. It’s art. It’s rebelling against every constraint that tries to shrink us, and doing it in a way that’s productive and energizing — in alignment, for everyone involved. That’s the mission: to create experiences and a movement where artists and creatives get to really see themselves again. The culture we’ve built around A Canon Event invites depth and connection and excellence in the same breath, and to watch it become the subject of a full-length documentary by award-winning filmmaker and friend Bobby Jaynick @universatile101 is something I’m still searching for the right words for.

A Canon Event has been a full-send dream since it’s conception in 2022 — from the experience, to the production, to the creative excellence, to the intentional, limitless collaboration that doesn’t exist anywhere else. This is the most meaningful and fulfilling direction my career has taken, and to see it represented so tenderly and wholeheartedly, at the scale everyone who collaborates with us deserves, is truly indescribable. I’m immensely proud, and grateful doesn’t even begin to cover how thankful I am for every person in my life who’s been willing to put themselves out there, do the scary thing, and pursue their creative purpose in alignment with their own dreams and capabilities…

a year full of laughter, happiness, dance, new friendships, and new relationships.
but most of all, this was a year full of lessons and change. i’ve had more life lessons this year than any other year i have lived. but, those lessons will help me be the better version of myself in 2026! i cannot wait to see what this next year brings. HAPPY NEW YEAR !!🥂
